January 18, 2017 age 86 of Monroeville. A son of the late Charles and Emily Engel. Beloved husband of 43 years to the late Dorothy (Matarazzo) Engel. Also proceeded in death by a brother William, sister Florence (late Tony) Forlastro and Emily (surviving Paul) Jagdmann. Brother in law of Lois Matarazzo. Also survived by many loving and caring nieces and nephews. Buck was retired from the former Pittsburgh Press. He was also an official scorekeeper for the professional basketball team Pittsburgh Pipers (later named Pittsburgh Condors). Singing and dancing was his passion and always enjoyed a good time with his family and friends. He and his late wife also enjoyed many trips to Atlantic City. Friends welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. 201 Marguerite Ave Wilmerding 412-824-4332 on Tuesday from 4-8 Pm. A service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 am.
