I just learned of Cathy's passing last night. It was just the other night I thought about and was going to try to find out online if there was an update on her and her career.

I have always admired Cathy and had the joy of working with her on AM Pittsburgh.
The very last time I spoke with her was in 1982 when we met in the stairwell of WTAE
I told her that I had hoped to work with her again. It did not happen in this world but we don t know what God has planned for us in eternality.

I liked Cathy I thought it was poor judgement of WTAE to let her go.

I hope she found much happiness after WTAE.

God bless her family

Cathy Milton was kind, gracious and a consummate professional and was a pioneer in Pittsburgh's broadcasting industry. She wore many hats including that of successful businesswoman. Condolences to her family. Will be missed but not forgotten.

We both worke early in our careers at WEDO in McKeesport. Folks there spoke well of her. I got to know Cathy as we worked at competing stations in Pittsburgh.
The ultimate professional who always had a caring heart in the stories she covered and the interviews she conducted. May God Bless her soul and the memories of those who cherished her in life and now in passing.
