Yvonne (Jones) Beswick

Yvonne (Jones) Beswick went home to the Lord on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the age of 70. Yvonne had a strong faith in God. She was Baptized at an early age at St. John the Baptist Church. She attended Slippery Rock University, graduating with high honors and obtaining 2 degrees. She married soon after college. From this marriage she had 2 children, Nicole and George Beswick. She leaves one grandchild Inara. She also leaves her siblings, Jesse (Linda) Jones, Martha (Johnny) Miott, Gary (Mary) Jones, Gloria Voss, Lamont (Rose) Jones, and Linda Tabb. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Jesse Jones, sisters, Donna (late Dean) Blash, and Marlene Jones. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Yvonne was a people person who ended up working for at Walmart for 25 years after terminating her business partnership. She loved people and her job. She never missed a day of work until her health started to decline. She retired from Walmart in 2022.

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, from 2pm to 4pm and 5pm to 7pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332.
