Vera Colamarino

Vera Colamarino, of North Versailles, formerly of Bloomfield , peacefully passed on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the age of 69. Vera is survived by her sister, Antoinette (Antonio) Pettinato, nephews, Anthony Pettinato, Ben (Angela) Pettinato, Matthew Colamarino, niece, Aimee Walters, and many friends. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Eutimio and Lucia (Sciulli) Colamarino, siblings, Nina Colamarino and Richard Colamarino, and nephews, Corey Walters and Michael Colamarino. 

Vera worked as a Registered Nurse at West Penn Hospital for many years. She was very giving, compassionate, loving, strong willed, and independent. Even though she never had kids of her own, she treated her nieces and nephews as her own and she spoiled them, especially on her favorite holiday, Christmas. 

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, from 4pm to 8pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332.
