August 13, 1985 - November 2, 2020

​Sadly passed on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the age of 35.  Tj was the life partner of Shannon Mayo for 7 years and the proud father of Connor T. Colton. He is the beloved son of Thomas Colton and Rebecca (Donald Nellis) McDonough, brother of  Ashlee Colton, Corey Colton, Donna Callander and Ben Nellis,. He is survived by his grandmothers, Harriette Fitzroy and Georgetta Colton, niece, Destine Thompson, nephew, Davonte Walker, mother in law, Kathleen Mayo, father in law, James Mayo, lifelong friends Joseph Vozar and Brandon Marto, numerous aunts and uncles and many friends. Tj loved his family and adored his son. He was an avid football fan; his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved music and trips to the New Jersey Shore. Tj was extremely handy and could fix just about anyhing. He always looked out for others, and would give his last dollar to someone in need. He touched a lot of lives, and will be dearly missed.
