Silian "Bergy" Silianoff

Silian “Bergy” Silianoff, of Monroeville, passed on February 5, 2023, at the age of 93. Bergy was the beloved husband of Mary (Klipa) Silianoff for 66 years. He was the loving father of Stevan, Michael (Janice), and David Silianoff; and adoring grandfather of Michael John Silianoff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, Kumovi, and friends. Bergy was preceded in passing by his parents, Ralpha and Filka (Nastich) Silianoff, and his brothers, Steve, Milcho, and Drago Silianoff.

Bergy worked alongside his family at Silianoff Bakery, and he also worked for the U.S. Postal Service. He loved Tambura music, and played in several Tambura bands over the years. He enjoyed working out. He was a dedicated, life-long member of St. Nicholas Serbian E.O. Church in Monroeville.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, from 3pm – 8pm in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa, 15148. A Pomen Service will be held in the funeral home at 7pm. Additional Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10am – 11am with Funeral Services following immediately after 11am at St. Nicholas Serbian E.O. Church, Monroeville, with Rev. Stefan Djoric officiating. Please meet directly at the church. Bergy will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles.
