Shirley M. (Finger) Valkanas

  Peacefully passed on January 30, 2022 in Flinton, Pa. Shirley was formerly of Monroeville and has been residing at her daughter Carols home for several years. Shirley was the loving mom of Carol and her husband Donald Laufer of Flinton Pa.  and son Thomas Novak and his wife Deborah of Florida. Special grandma of John Laufer, Julie DalCanton, Christopher Novak and Keith Novak.  Also survived by 8 greatgrandchildren and 5 great-greatgrandchildren. Proceed in passing by her parents, siblings and spouses, Bernard Novak and Theodore Valkanas. Shirley enjoyed puzzles, flea markets, sewing and above all her family. Family and friends are welcome in Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. 201 Marguerite Ave Wilmerding Pa 412-824-4332 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 Pm. A blessing service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 Am in the funeral home. Shirley will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles Pa.
