Rosemarie (Gentile) Bacco

Rosemarie (Gentile) Bacco, of Monroeville, peacefully passed on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the age of 94, surrounded by her loving family. Rosemarie was the devoted wife of Gabriel Bacco for over 70 wonderful years. She was the loving mother of Sam (Deidre) Bacco, Bill (Shawnna) Bacco, and Donna (Tom) Stewart. She was the adoring grandmother of Maria Nicole (Thomas) Swann, Jacqueline (Jason) Exley, Jessica (Eric) Leuthold, Gabriel Bacco, Thomas Stewart, and Emma (Michael) Esposito, great-grandmother of  Sophia, Emmet and Jameson Swann, Madelyn and Aubrey Exley, Ava and Chloe Leuthold. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Rudolph and Julia (Castagnero) Gentile, and brother, Louis and his wife Mary Jane Gentile.

Rosemarie was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court Westinghouse 759 for many years. She also volunteered for Turtle Creek Meals on Wheels. She had many hobbies including planting flower gardens, crocheting, knitting, and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed dancing, painting and making ceramic objects. She loved cooking and baking for family and friends. Her greatest love was her family, and the time she spent with them.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Rosemarie's memory be made to St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10am at St. Colman Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Turtle Creek.
