Robert "Bubba" Smail

Robert “Bubba” Smail, of Turtle Creek, peacefully passed on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at the age of 73. Robert was the husband of Elizabeth “Betsy” (Kelly) Smail. He was the loving father of James Smail, Bobbi Jo Glover, Kristy White, Jessica Meyers, Alena Lindig, Jaquie Bock, Ronald Judkins, Allen Judkins, and Robert Phillips. He was the adoring grandfather of numerous grandchildren. Robert is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Gianfrancesco, Kathleen Smail, and Katherine Smail, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in passing by his parents, John and Rita (Bevil) Smail, and brother, John Smail. 

Robert loved owning and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and camping. He will always be remembered for having a zest for life. 

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, from 4pm to 8pm, at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 11am in the funeral home. Robert will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.
