Richard Kucera

Richard Kucera, of Monroeville, peacefully passed on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the age of 90. Richard was the devoted husband of Catherine (Reed) Kucera for 71 years. He was the loving father of Dr. Richard (MaryRuth) Kucera and Louise Margaret (Sean) Lydon. Adoring grandfather of Christina Yonkey, Jennifer Meushaw, Margaret Kucera, and Richard Kucera; great-grandfather of Miles and Cole. Richard was preceded in passing by his parents, Louise (Usthol) and Frank Kucera Jr.

Richard worked as an Engineer for Westinghouse. He enjoyed model airplanes and playing the saxophone. He also had many patents throughout his career.

Per Richards’s request, all services will be private. He will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles. Arrangements are in the care of Alfieri Funeral Home, Wilmerding. Please visit us at www.alfierifuneralhome.com for online condolences.
