Raymond Scarpino

Raymond F. Scarpino, 68, of West Mifflin, beloved husband (46 years) of Karen Connolly, father of Nicholas (Sarah), Sterling, VA and Natalie (Joe Spatola), Columbia, TN. Son of Dorothy Scarpino, Wall. Also survived by brother Edward (Jeanne), Las Vegas, NV; sisters Annette Scarpino, Wall; Loretta (David) Wolfe, Lavonia, MI; Patricia Croy, Canton, MI; and nephew, Stephen (Megan) Wolfe, Ladson, SC. Predeceased by his father, Joseph, and older brother, Joseph A. “Kip”. 

Ray was a graduate of East Allegheny High School class of 1974. Attended Triangle Tech, taught HVAC at Dean Tech and was employed by GE as an Electrical Technician and Supervisor. He was a member of the Thompson Run Athletic Association for over forty years, serving as President for one year and Secretary for many years as well as Bartender. He loved getting his hands dirty in the garden. He enjoyed wood working and could make anything out of a piece of wood, especially cabinets.
