July 19, 1948 - April 21, 2021

Peacefully passed on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at the age of 72, with his loving family at his side. Ray was the devoted husband of the late Janet L. Smith for 40 years. He is survived by his caring brother, Jack, sister-in-law, Gayann, nieces, Jennifer (Bill), Leann (Rich) and Stephanie, nephew, John (Julie) and great-niece, Madison. He is also survived by his friend and longtime caretaker, Betsy and her family who saw Ray as part of their family, and many other friends. Ray never let his disability hold him back from living a long, happy and full life. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and knew all of their stats. He was very smart and knowledgeable, especially when it came to electronics. Per Ray’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
