Orlean (Gilbert) Indrunas

Orlean (Gilbert) Indrunas, of East Pittsburgh, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the age of 75. Orlean was the devoted wife of the late William Indrunas. She was the beloved mother of Mary Indrunas, and loving grandmother of Zachary Elko. She is also survived by her siblings, Roy Gilbert, Judy Holland, Susie Whiteman, Shelby Cauley, and Tammy Vargo, numerous nieces, nephews, and all who loved her. In addition to her husband, William, she was preceded in passing by her parents, Lawrence and Orlean (Campbell) Gilbert.

Orlean was an avid fan of the Pirates. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, going to the casino, and doing puzzles. She adored her grandson, Zachary, he was her pride and joy. Orlean was a very caring person who would help anyone out. She always put everyone else first.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, December 13, from 10am to noon at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home at noon. Orlean will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, William, at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville.
