On Saturday, June 25, Norman Arendas, 83 of North Huntington passed away with his family by his side.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Sylvia “Sis” (Lytle) Arendas. Father of Scott (Dawn), Pappy of Allison (Shawn Sperlik) and Brandon Arendas. Blessed to be proud great-grandfather of Chase.
Survived by sister, Jean Ponitz, brother-in-law of Dean Lytle and Jane, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Son of late Michael and Mary (Ruscak) Arendas, brother of the late Olga (Jim) Rullo, Marian (Mike) Begala and Bill Arendas.
Norman was a dedicated lifetime member of Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church. Norman was a proud Army Veteran. He was retired from WABCO. He loved playing racquet ball and being a part of the Irwin Senior Softball League and Volleyball League
Family and Friends are welcome on Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa, 15148, 412-824-4332. Parting Prayers will be said in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30am. Followed by Divine Liturgy at 10am in Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, Wall, with Father Donald Bolls officiating.
