Nita (D'Amico) Cheripka
Obituary
Peacefully passed on October 8, 2022, at the age of 75. Nita was the devoted wife of Thomas Cheripka. Loving mother of Monica (Robert) Murphy, Thomas Cheripka Jr., and Brad (Julie) Cheripka; adoring grandmother of Jeremy, John “Jake”, Delaney, Collin, Zachary and Reagan. Nita is also survived by her siblings, Donald D’Amico, Patricia Cheripka and Pamela Matviya, step siblings, Mary Ann Medvis, Rose “Tiny” Monk, James “Bull” Cheripka, Robert “Bucky” Cheripka, Edward Cheripka, Ronald Cheripka, and Mark Cheripka, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, David and Blanche Virginia (Shaffer) D’Amico, step mother, Helen (Cheripka) D’Amico, and her brother, Michael D’Amico.
She loved deeply, lived fully, and served others well. May we all strive to carry on her legacy.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, October 11, from 1pm to 9pm in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11am at St. Jude the Apostle Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Please meet directly at the church.
