Nicholas Brletic

Nicholas Brletic, of Holiday Park, peacefully passed on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the age of 91. Nicholas was the loving husband of the late Irene (Ondulich) Brletic. Beloved father of Lynn (James) Stascak and Ken Brletic. Adoring grandfather of Corey (Shannon) Stascak, Justin (Madeline Cavalier) Stascak, and Marina (Jay) Gossett; great grandfather of Easton. He is also survived by his sister, Rose (Ron) Pastor, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Irene, he was preceded in passing by his parents, Frank and Anna (Vinski) Brletic, and brothers, John, Frank, Edward, Joseph, and James. 

Nicholas was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran and also served in the Coast Guard. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Joy Church of Holy Family Parish. Nicholas worked as a barber and hairstylist for many years. He enjoyed going to casinos, especially in Las Vegas. He was a very patient and kind man, and a loving father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed. 

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, October 6 from 4pm to 8pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148, 412-824-4332. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10am at Our Lady of Joy Church of Holy Family Parish.  Everyone is asked to please meet directly at the church. Nicholas will be laid to rest with Military Honors beside his beloved wife, Irene, at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock Hills.
