Obituary
Meredith Eileen Howard sadly passed on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the age of 34. Meredith was the loving mother of Neveah and Kayleen. She was the special daughter Melina Cortazzo, beloved sister of Benjamin Schmeltz, Raymond Jones, Tyrone Jones, Alexa Anderson, and Lena Anderson. She is also survived by father of her daughters, Herb Green, nephew, Preston Smeltz, and many friends. Meredith was preceded in passing by her biological parents, John and Kelly (Howard) Smeltz.
Meredith enjoyed a lot of the simple things in life. She always looked forward to the hustle and bustle of preparing for holidays and events. She wanted to make people happy. She had a warm open heart and a kindness that extended to everyone who crossed her path.
A celebration of Meredith’s life will be held on Wednesday, from 2pm to 6pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148, 412-824-4332. A Memorial Service will be held at 6pm. Please visit us at www.alfierifuneralhome.com for online condolences.
