Mary (Ciccotelli) Comunale

December 26, 1930 - May 26, 2021

Peacefully passed on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the age of 90. Mary was the loving mother of Rae (Michael) Stark, Carol (Gary) Homonai and Cynthia (Anthony) Angelo. Caring grandmother of Dana (Donato) Bonacquisto and Mark (Karen) Homonai; adoring great-grandmother of three. She is also survived by her sister, MaryJo Conforti, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Raymond Comunale, and her parents, Nicola and Carmella (Davanti) Ciccotelli.

Mary was a loving, kind and generous person. She was always the first to offer help to someone in need. She was a beautiful cook and pastry chef. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards and painting. She also volunteered for many years at St. Jude Church in Wilmerding. Mary had a strong love for both her immediate and extended families. Her greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332, on Thursday, June 3, from 4pm to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 4, at 10am at St. Jude the Apostle Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Please meet at the church.
