Born in McKeesport on January 27, 1939, “Bernie”, was the daughter of Rose Marie (Mulligan) and Walter Paul Snyder. Wife of late James “Fats” Comunale. Beloved Mother of James Comunale (Pam), Constance Darnley (William), Julie Aubin (Lorne), and Lisa Howell (Gary). Grandmother of Brooke and Joshua Howell. Sister of Walter Snyder and Margaret Kraus. She is also loved by many nieces nephews, relatives and friends.
Bernie was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School in 1957. Dedicated 33 years at Wabtec working for AVI Food Services. She loved playing cards, bingo and watching Jeopardy. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome in Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148, 412-824-4332 on Sunday from 3pm to 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10am in St. Colman Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Bernie will be laid to rest beside her husband in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
