Obituary
Peacefully passed on August 8, 2022, at the age of 100, with her family at her side. Mary was the devoted wife of the late Sylvester “Sy” Lisic. Loving mother of Janet Lucarelli, John (MaryAnn) Florchak, Susan Rappaport. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in passing by her parents, Casper and Catherine (Matakas) Yankowski, and her son, Michael Lisic.
Mary was part of the Greatest Generation. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking. Mary was a former member of the St. Jude Rosary Society.
Family and friends are welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332, on Thursday from 3pm to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10am at St. Jude the Apostle Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
