Marlene Gottron

Marlene (Mar) Gottron passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 84 in Black Mountain, NC. Marlene was the wife of the late Richard Gottron. Marlene spent 82 years of her life in Pennsylvania until moving to North Carolina. Marlene was the daughter of the late Willaim & Charlotte (Wensel) Lipke; mother of Kris (Rick) Hoke, Kathy Gottron & Theresa (Ed) Lorenc; grandmother of Nicholas Gottron, Marissa Duvall, Savannah Lorenc, and Chloe Lorenc; sister of the late Marguerite (Mikey Trump), brothers Bill Lipke & John Lipke; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  

Marlene worked for Community College of Allegheny County in several departments for most of her career.  Her favorite days would be gambling at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh.
