Maria Kraus

Maria Kraus, of Wall, was returned home to her family on Tuesday, March 31, 2025, at the age of 39. Maria was the loving mother of Kaylee Strawn. She was the beloved daughter of Edward and Tammy (Gates) Kraus, and sister of Justin Kraus. She was the granddaughter of Al and Marge Kraus, and the niece of Tim (Marybeth) Gates, Pam (Doug) Edwards, Sam (Suzanne) Gates, Theresa (Jay) Troutman, Connie (Ron) Kugler, and Matt (Debbie) Kraus. She is also survived by numerous cousins and many friends. She was preceded in passing by her grandparents, Jerry and Nancy Gates, and aunt, Kim Gates.

Maria was loved by many. She always had a smile on her face. Her life revolved around her beautiful daughter, Kaylee. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and going to concerts with her friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. 

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, April 9 from 6pm to 8pm and Thursday, April 10 from 2pm to 8pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. Maria will be laid to rest on Friday, April 11 at 11am at Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
