Lucille (Staropoli) Bachy

Lucille (Staropoli) Bachy, of North Huntingdon, peacefully passed on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the age of 83. Lucille was the devoted wife of the late William Bachy. She was the loving mom of Denise Lucot, William (Laurel) Bachy and Michael Bachy; and adoring grandmother of Jim (Emily) Lucot, Brooke (Tyler) Glenn, Laurel (fiancé Dakota) Bachy, Ashton Stepinsky and Nicole (fiancé Chase) Steplinsky. Lucille is also survived by her sisters, Mary Jo (late Robert) Michalek and Tina (late John) Omdahl, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. 

Lucille worked as the Cafeteria Manager at Norwin High School for many years. She had a strong faith and was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in North Huntingdon. In her free time she enjoyed painting ceramics and various other crafts. She was an avid fan of college and pro football. Lucille loved cooking and baking especially her Italian cuisine. Above all she loved the time she spent with her family especially on holidays. 

Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 2pm to 8pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa, 15148, 412-824-4332. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10am. Lucille will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Bill, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, North Versailles.
