Louis "Lou" Gerbi

On Sunday June 30, 2024 of Wilmerding PA.

Lou was born on December 23, 1947 in Wilkinsburg PA to the late Louis and Enoa Gerbi.

Beloved husband of 55 years to Linda (McCloskey) Gerbi. Loving dad of Lou (Hope) Gerbi. Special Pap of Kel and Owen.  Brother of Gwen (late Dick) Chontos and the late James (surviving Nancy) Gerbi.

Brother in law of Denny McCloskey, Johnny McCloskey and Dave McCloskey.

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Lou was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed fishing and golfing and the Pittsburgh sport teams. He especially adored his dog Brootis. Always willing to lend a hand to someone was a beautiful quality Lou had. Family and friends are welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. Wilmerding PA on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday. Entombment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon, PA.
