Lois Jean (Harvey) Rectenwald

Lois Jean (Harvey) Rectenwald, age 86, of Pitcairn, Pennsylvania, passed away comfortably on February 2, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Harvey; her brother, Kenneth Harvey; and her sister, Dorothy “Tootsie” Harvey.

Lois is survived by her niece, Karrie (Ken) Raymond; her great-niece, Torrie (Dustin) Stewart; her great-great-nieces, Shyla Stewart and Giannalyn Stewart; and her nephew, Kenny Harvey.

Lois was strong-willed and had a personality all her own. She could be spirited and outspoken, and those who knew her well loved her for exactly who she was. She lived her life grounded in faith and took great pride in her church.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, February 6th, from 3:00–8:00 PM, with a Pomen Service at 7:00 PM, at Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Avenue, Wilmerding, PA 15148 (412-824-4332). A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 12:00 PM at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Monroeville, with Fr. Stefan Djoric officiating. Lois will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lois’s name to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
