Lawrence W. "Larry" Bacco

Lawrence W. "Larry" Bacco, of North Versailles, peacefully passed on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the age of 86, with his loving family at his side. Larry was the devoted husband of Florence “Gail” (Mason) Bacco for over 60 wonderful years. He was the loving father of Deborah L. Bacco-Wicker and Dina M. (Ed) Bacco-Coennen, proud grandfather of Justin and Jacob Wicker, Allison (Aaron Gillis) and Corey Franco. He is also survived by brothers, Gabriel (late Rose Marie) Bacco, Ronald (Joan) Bacco, and Raymond (Gladys) Bacco. Larry was preceded in passing by his parents, Sam and Sarah Bacco, and brothers, Joseph (surviving Mitzie) Bacco, and Patsy Bacco. 

Larry was a Graduate of Wilmerding High School and Pittsburgh Aeronautics School. He was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran. He worked in New York at American Airlines for several years before he came back to Pennsylvania. He retired from Valley Honda RV Center where he was a manager. Larry was a member of Toastmasters and served as President.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, from 2pm to 7pm at Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148, 412-824-4332. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at noon. Lawrence will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville.
