Karen (Barone) Higgins, of North Huntingdon, Peacefully passed, on January 10, 2021 at the age of 58, with her family at her side. Karen was the beloved daughter of  Tony Barone and the late Dorothy “Dolly” (Nesta) Barone. She was the loving mother of Ronald Higgins, Jessica (Ross Becher) Higgins and Jamie (Brandon Lane) Higgins. Adoring grandmother of Jackson, Keira and Amara. She is also survived by her sisters, Dottie (Kenny) Altman and Aimee (Ron) Koch, brother, Tony (Eron) Barone, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Karen enjoyed reading and going to the beach. She adored her grandchildren and dogs. Karen was a single mom who worked hard to provide and care for her children. Family and Friends are welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332, on Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Masks are required in funeral home.
