It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Karen Louise (Belchick) Wenger on October 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Born on June 17,1947 in Pittsburgh, Karen was known for her big personality, and love for her family.
She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and worked as a Supervisor with Dun & Bradstreet for many years following her graduation.
Karen was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Her dedication to her family, and friends brought joy to all who knew her.
Karen is survived by her husband Frederick Scott Wenger, her children, Jennifer Wenger and Nicole Bathurst (Gavin), her grandchildren Nathan Bathurst and Hailey Bathurst, and brother John Belchick (Melissa). She is preceded in death by her parents George and Elizabeth (Durkay) Belchick, sister Anna Marie Monzo, and brother George Belchick.
Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, October 12 from 2pm to 8pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 13 at 10am at St. Jude the Apostle Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Wilmerding.
