Julia Ann (Gulish) Vucelich
February 26, 1937 - February 12, 2021
Peacefully passed on Friday, February 12, 2021 at the age of 83. Julia was the devoted wife of the late Reddy Vucelich for 61 years. She was the loving mother of Debra (Dominick) Capolarello, Daniel (Elaine) Vucelich and Danica (Davor) Brkovich. She was the adoring grandmother of Daniella (Nikola) Vranesevic, Kristofer (Stephanie) Vucelich, Dominick (Alyson) Capolarello, Nicole Capolarello, Gregory Brkovich, Melanie Brkovich and Zachary Brkovich; great-grandmother of Domenico "Nico" Capolarello. Julia is also survived by her sister Marcella (John) Karp, many nieces and nephews, and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in passing by her father, John Gulish, mother, Alvera (Sumski) Zik, step-father, William Zik, and siblings, Michael (surviving Mary), Robert (late Charlotte) Zik. Julia was a dedicated member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church. She served as President of the St. Nicholas Serbian Tamburitzans for more than 15 years. She will be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother who worked tirelessly all her adult life supporting her children’s activities in the church, school and tamburitzan activities. Family and friends are welcome in Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332, on Wednesday from 3pm-5pm and 6pm to 8pm, with Pomen Service at 7pm. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11am in St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Monroeville with Father Stefan Djoric officiating. Please meet directly at the church.
