Joseph A. Scarpino, of Oceanside, Ca, unexpectedly passed on April 13, 2023. Joseph was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Kelly) Scarpino who survives. He is also survived by brothers, Raymond (Karen) of West Mifflin, Edward (Jeanne) of Las Vegas; his sisters, Annette Scarpino of Wall, Loretta (David) Wolfe of Livonia, MI, and Patricia Croy of Garden City, MI. He was the uncle of four nephews, Jared Ritter, Justin Ritter, Nicholas Scarpino, and Stephen Wolfe, and one niece, Natalie Spatola.

Joseph was a graduate of East Allegheny High School class of ’73. After graduation he joined the U.S. Marine Corps with basic training at Parris Island, then ending his four year stint at Camp Pendleton. He was enamored with the California climate he resided there until his passing. All services will be private.
