John “Zip” Drakulic
Peacefully passed on January 18, 2022, at the age of 82. Zip was the beloved husband of Janet (Wallace) Drakulic, loving father of Danee Harvey. He is also survived by his brothers, Tom (Elaine) Drakulic and Bob (Lynn) Drakulic, numerous nieces and nephews, his special companion, Daisy, and many friends. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Mildred (Karan) and John Drakulic Sr., and brother, Mel Drakulic.
Zip was a dedicated member of Saint Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Monroeville, where he helped with many projects. He loved listening to Tambura music. He loved a challenge in fixing things. He never turned away anyone that needed help. He was an avid Trump supporter. His idol was Nikola Tesla. He worked as a Machinist for 70 years. He enjoyed building Hot Rods, and often manufactured parts himself.
Arrangements entrusted to Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., Wilmerding. Everyone is welcome to attend a graveside service at Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles, at 1pm on Saturday.
