John “Gunner” Romanishin

Peacefully on July 1, 2018 age 94 of Monroeville. Regarded as the greatest generation, Mr. Romanishin served his country during WWII in the US Army. Dear father of Jon Romanishin. Special grandfather of Taylor Trainor. Brother of Walter Romanishin. Proceeded in passing by his beloved wife, Margaret “Peggy” (Lord) Romanishin, a daughter Juliann and siblings; Eva Manzo Mary McGuigan, William Romanishin and Dorothy Evanovich. Friends are welcome in Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. 201 Marguerite Ave Wilmerding 412-824-4332 on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 Pm. A blessing service will be held on Friday at 10:00 Am in the funeral home. Internment will follow in Restland Memorial Park with Military Honors.
