John Capo

On Thursday January 2, 2025, age 93 of Monroeville.

John was the beloved and devoted husband of Shirley (Fritz) Capo. Loving dad of Karen (Ron) Barton and Marie (Bill) Bonura. Special Pap of J.J (Heather) Ciufo, Tony (Matti) Bonura, Daniel (Cara) Ciufo, Jason (Amy) Ciufo, Billy (Danielle) Bonura and Cory (Corrine) Bonura. Great Pap of Luke, Jack, Cecelia, Giana, Cruz, Carmine, Bennett, Milo, Santino, Beau, Will, Nico, Cory, and Blair.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and all who loved John.

John was preceded in passing by his parents; Carmine and Mary Capo and brother Attilio (Sharon) Capo.

John lived for his family, who meant everything to him. He honorably served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. John was a Postmaster in Turtle Creek, Pa for numerous years and enjoyed playing cards and getting together with his friends at Monroeville Mall food court. 

Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 2pm to 7pm in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11am. John will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville.
