Jeffrey DeGroff

Jeffrey DeGroff, of North Versailles, formerly of Bryan, Ohio, peacefully passed on Friday, July 4, 2025 at the age of 78. He was the loving father of Michelle DeGroff, Melissa DeGroff, and Melinda Huntington; proud grandfather of Zachary Wannemacher and AJ Bickham, great-grandfather of Melaina and Mick. He is also survived by his siblings, Judy Gootjies, Janie Welsh, and Jackie Miller, other relatives, and many friends. Jeffrey was preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Debra (Firestone) DeGroff, parents, Scotty and Lois (Figy) DeGroff, and grandson, Tyler Wannenmacher.

Jeffrey was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. He was an avid Yankee and Ohio State fan. For a time, he worked as a bus driver. One of his joys in life was being a student driving instructor. Another was his beloved family especially his grandchildren whom he adored. 

Jeffrey will be laid to rest with full Military Honors at Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan, Ohio. Arrangements are in the care of Alfieri Funeral Home, Wilmerding. Please visit us at www.alfierifuneralhome.com for online condolences.
