Jean (Berkovitz) Falce
July 24, 1929 - May 30, 2021
Jean (Berkovitz) Falce, 91, formerly of North Versailles. She spent the last nine years living with her daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. Jean died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones, and her favorite cat, Stewie. Wife of the late Reynold Falce. Loving mother of Lisa (Carl) Tuscan and the late Lori (surviving Tom) Wratcher. Grandmother of Gina Tuscan (Greg Buchko). She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Louise Berkovitz. Sister of Rena (late Robert) Hanks. Dear aunt of Bryan (Linda) Hanks and Robin (late Robert) Bowen. Nene to Justyn (Ashley) Hanks, Kristen (Greg) Stanonik, Lauren (Steve) Likar, Ambur (Kyle) Schaefer, and Brett (Brice Jenkins) Bowen, and their children. Also survived by her sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Everyone was always welcome at her house, and you were guaranteed a great meal. She loved to have time with her family. One of her favorite holidays was Christmas Eve and having the feast of the seven fishes with her family.
The family would like to thank Angels for the Elderly and Gallagher Hospice. Thanks to Jean’s loving caregivers, Renee, Bobbi, Kathy, her nurse’s aide Jocelyn, and her amazing nurse, Kimmy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean’s name to Hillman Cancer Center (for Breast Cancer Awareness). Jean was a breast cancer survivor.
Family and friends are welcome in Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, and 412-824-4332; on Friday from 3pm to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church of Mary Mother of God Parish. Everyone please meet at the church.
