Jane M. (Dumbrowsky) Janik

Jane M. (Dumbrowsky) Janik, of Monroeville, peacefully passed on October 22, 2024, at the age of 94. Jane was the beloved wife of the late Henry “Hank” Janik. She was the loving mother of Jane (David) Gongaware and Henry P. Janik Jr.; adoring grandmother of David (Skyla) Gongaware and Michael (Peyton Norton) Gongaware. She is also survived by her brother, James (Phyllis) Dumbrowsky, numerous nieces and nephews, and all who loved her. In addition to her husband, Hank, she was preceded in passing by her parents, Adam and Catherine (Kaiphas) Dumbrowsky, and numerous brothers and sisters. 

Jane enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She also liked canning, especially sauce. Her greatest joy in life was her family and the time she spent with them.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, October 25, from 4pm to 8pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148, 412-824-4332. Additional Visitation on Sunday, October 27 from 2pm to 6pm at the Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, 7922 Wise Avenue, Dundalk, Maryland 21222. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Hope Church in Dundalk, MD, on Monday at 11am.
