Grace Louise (Biery) Deems

Grace Louise Biery Deems, 93, of Washington Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at her home. Grace was born January 6, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of Glenn Gael and Grace Elizabeth (Tingay) Biery. Grace was the beloved wife of the late Jack Deems. She was the loving mother of Beverly (John) Mochan of Washington Twp., PA, Jay (Diana) Deems of Stillwater, MN, Janet (Daniel) Kunkle of Washington Twp, PA. Grace was the adoring grandmother of William Sheret of Holiday, FL, Brian Sheret of Apollo, PA, Jacob (Sarah) Deems of Eden Prairie, MN, Stephanie (Aaron) Yoder of Harrison City, PA, Holly Kunkle of North Huntigdon, PA, and Sarah (Matthew) Marinclin of Irwin, PA.  She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, her daughter in-law Janet Deems of Eden Prairie, MN, her sister in-law, Janet Biery of New Kensington, and her dog Tess, her best buddy. In addition to her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in passing by her son, Gary Wayne Deems of Apollo, Pa, brother, Jay Biery of Leechburg, Pa, and her sister, Carol Remalia of Carrollton, TX.

Grace was a graduate of Munhall High School. She was a very caring person and was always helping others. She was blessed to have wonderful caregivers who she enjoyed playing cards and Bingo with. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, who she loved more than anything.
