George E. Daniels

George E. Daniels, Jr., of Turtle Creek, peacefully passed on Friday, March 6, 2024, at the age of 81, surrounded by his family. George was born on May 15, 1942. He was the son of Josephine and Albert Timko. He was the Husband of the late Cheryl (Gilbert) Daniels for 30 years. George was the father of Tina Daniels, Kerry Mihalik, Doug Daniels, and Vanessa (David) Cassell. He was the brother of Lawrence (Beth Anne) Daniels, Deborah Waggoner, Cindy (George) Kocsis, and Albert (Chris) Timko. Grandfather of Katie Lehosky, Jill Lehosky, and Ryan Mihalik; great-grandfather of Leo George Cassell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Cheryl, he was preceded in passing by his beloved dog, Ben. 

George retired from the Union Railroad after 40 years. He was an avid music collector, amateur DJ, and Jazz aficionado. He coached many softball and basketball teams over the years. He was a loving and generous father. George made friends wherever he went. He will be missed by his dogs Daisy and Minnie.
