Frank Bacco

Peacefully passed on October 9, 2022, at the age of 96.  Frank was the devoted husband of Theresa (Patella) Bacco for 72 years. Loving father of Francis Bacco.  Special Pappap of Christine (Mark) Filburn, Matthew (Ryan) Bacco, Alexis Bacco and Allyson Bacco as well as four great-grandchildren: Justine, Jeremy and Jada Filburn and Carson Bacco. 

He was preceded in death by his son Anthony (Tony) Bacco, his parents, Pasquale and Mary Bacco and siblings, Flora Damasky, Gabrielle, Rose Sarnicola, Anthony, Joseph, Louis, Angeline Conte, Samuel, James, Clara Faber and David.

Frank was born in Wilmerding.  He enlisted in the Navy in 1943 and served his country during WW2.  Frank worked as a bus driver for the Port Authority of Allegheny County and retired after 35 years of service.

In retirement Frank enjoyed traveling, golfing, taking great care of his lawn and spending time with friends at the Mall.  He loved his family and they loved him.  He will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday from 2pm – 8pm, at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 10am in the funeral home. Frank will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville.
