Peacefully passed on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the age 84. Esther was the devoted wife of the late Paul Szekely. Loving mother of James (Robin) Szekely, Barbara (Jeff) Gruss and Scott (Renee) Szekely. Adoring grandmother of Kirsten (Keith) Stewart, Stephen and Julie Gruss, and Ryan Szekely, great-grandmother of Jocelyn and Waylon Stewart. She also survived by her sister, Vera Josephic, numerous brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and friends. Esther was a gentle soul, who loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends are welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332, on Friday from 4pm to 8pm. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11am. Masks are required in the funeral home. Esther will be laid to rest beside her husband in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery.
