Emily (Loughner) Stadterman

Emily Jane (Loughner) Stadterman, of Pitcairn, passed away from multiple health problems on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the age of 63.

Emily grew up in West Wilmerding. She worked at Giant Eagle and as a Crossing Guard for Pitcairn. Being she worked well with children, she was a good fit when volunteering with Pitcairn Summer Recreation. 

She enjoyed visiting her apartment buildings community room with the girls to play cards. She also enjoyed bowling and attending the covered dish nights at PFD #2 Social Club. 

Emily is survived by her sister, Violet Bateman, brother, Chuck Loughner, numerous nieces and nephews, her companion, Rick Kline and his family, and numerous friends. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Gary Stadterman, parents, William and Millie, Loughner, and siblings, Anne Marie Loughner, Jenny Loughner, and Bill Loughner. 

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, May 22, from 4pm – 8pm, at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 10am in the funeral home with Pastor Ray Beard officiating. Emily will be laid to rest at New St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, North Versailles.
