Ella Mae (Franklin) Gipson

January 3, 1932 - October 18, 2020

Peacefully passed on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the age of 88, with her family at her side. Ella was the wife of the late William G. Gipson. Loving mother of Bruce (late Cecela) Gipson, Cheryl (Richard) Catterton, Donald “Jake” (Connie) Gipson and the late Glenn Gipson. Ella was the loving grandmother of Dawn Gipson. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Vernon and Catherine (Kelly) Gipson and brothers, Vernon and David. She is also survived by her siblings, Garth (Eric) Franklin, Patricia (Dennis) Cherry, and Linda (Ray) Jones, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Ella enjoyed working at Monroeville Mall. She loved and family and the time she spent with them. She will be deeply missed. Family and friends welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332, on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. A Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 11am. Masks are required in the funeral home. Ella will be laid to rest beside her husband in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
