Elizabeth “Betty” (Polce) Mikosz

April 11, 1938 - October 5, 2021

Peacefully passed on October 5, 2021 at the age of 83. Betty was the devoted wife of the late George Mikosz. She was the cherished daughter of the late Veto and Anna Polce. Loving sister of Virginia Polce, Pauline Martinelli, Josephine Chioda, Helen Periello, Clara Cristoforo, Joseph Polce, Dominec Polce, and Veto Polce, all of whom preceded her in passing. She is survived by her sisters-in –law, Maryann Polce and Patty Polce, many nieces, nephews and friends. She is also survived by her extended family members of the Brunori, Hartman/Abusamra, Meinert and Nese’s who loved and cherished her for over 35 years. 
 

Betty, our “Sun Goddess” will always be remembered for her kind hearted, spunky, silly, and most of all, loving personality. She loved going to the casino, bowling and golfing. She enjoyed playing cards and traveling. Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
 

Family and friends are welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332, on Thursday from Noon till the time of service at 1pm. Betty will be laid to rest beside her husband in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery.
