Elaine I. (Izatt) Grimm

Elaine I. (Izatt) Grimm peacefully passed on Monday, October 16, 2023, at the age of 87. Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Allen O. Grimm Jr. She was the loving mother of Rev. Allen O. (Patricia) Grimm III, John (Karla) Grimm, Elyse Ann (Ellis) Michaels, and James Andrew “Andy” (Joan) Grimm. She was the adoring grandmother of Aaron, Jacob, Joshua, Melynda, Kallie, Willis, Lindsey, Hannah, Joanna, Hettie, Thomas, Cecelia, and Trent. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and all who loved her. In addition to her husband, Allen, she was preceded in passing by her parents, James and Irene (Garton) Izatt, and brother, James Izatt. 

Elaine was a Graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School. She went on to attend Duquesne University where she earned a Master's Degree in Education. She also earned a Supervision Certificate from Slippery Rock University. She taught at Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8, until her retirement in 2005. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Monroeville United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11am. Arrangements are in the care of Alfieri Funeral Home, Wilmerding. Please visit us www.alfierifuneralhome.com for online condolences.
