Edward E. Parady Sr.

Edward E. Parady Sr., of Pitcairn, peacefully passed on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the age of 78. Ed was the devoted husband of Gloria (Shipley) Parady for 56 years. He was the loving father of Edward Parady Jr. and Derrick (Kristin) Parady; adoring grandfather of Keegan Parady. Ed is also survived by his siblings, David Parady and MaryLou Peters, and many friends. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Albert Parady and Muriel (Flanders) Reed. 

Ed was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran and served his country in Vietnam. He was a Life Member of the Pitcairn Fire Department. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family and the Pitcairn Community. 

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 10am in the funeral home. Ed will be laid to rest with full Military Honors at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
