Eduardo “Lalo” Cisneros, of Pittsburgh (Formerly of Mexico), passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the age of 36. Son of Dolores "Lola" and the late Leonel Cisneros.
Lalo had been battling cancer for the past year. Enduring surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and all that comes with it, he never complained.
In the past week, Lalo made the brave decision to cease any further treatments. He spent his remaining days under hospice care in the home of his aunt and uncle, Lynn and Ignacio Cisneros who have been like his parents for the past 20 years while he lived in the United States. Also at his side were his brother Roberto, and cousin Nacho Jr.
He enjoyed his final days drinking beer, eating chicken wings, and listening to Lynn’s friends band performing at a local bar. Saturday he attended Lynn’s nephew’s 4th birthday party watching all the children enjoying the day. On Sunday, he was to attend a Bingo fundraiser but passed earlier in the morning.
He was a truly kindhearted person that worked hard and always had a smile on his face. A big fan of the New England Patriots, a tattoo of “Patriots” placed across his chest was kept hidden from his family for quite a while.
Lalo will be forever missed by his family who feel grateful to have his final days together, just as he chose them to be, as a family.
Lalo is survived by his mother Delores "Lola", siblings, Ernesto, Erendira, Eva, Rigoberto, and Alain, his aunt and uncle, Lynn and Ignacio Cisneros, cousin, Ignacio Jr., niece, Malana, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
