Doreen (Trenga) Franceschini

July 7, 1934 - September 18, 2021

Peacefully passed on September 18, 2021, at the age of 87. Doreen was the loving mother of Louis Franceschini and Nina (A. Basel) Al-Yousfi, adoring grandmother of Nihad A. Al-Yousfi. She is also survived by her sister, Helena Ryan, sister-in-law, Nellie Skantar, her beloved cat, Jade, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceeded in passing by her beloved husband, Achillo Mario Francheshini, and her parents, Carmine and Estelle (Praisner) Trenga.

Doreen graduated from Duquesne University with a degree in Music. She went on to teach music at Gateway School District. She was also the longtime organist at North American Martyrs Church She loved to cook, bake and decorate. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandson, Nihad.  Doreen had a beautiful demeanor and loved to share her music, devotion and faith with everyone.

Family and friends are welcome in Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148, 412-824-4332, on Saturday from 10am to Noon. A Blessing Service will be held at Noon.
