Donald "Bucky" Comunale

Donald “Bucky” Comunale, of Monroeville, passed on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the age of 82. Bucky was the father of Connie (John) Denning, Anthony (Michelle) Comunale, Melissa (Sean) Panza, Doug (Mary) Comunale, and Mike (Krista) Comunale. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brother, Lawrence (Charlette) Comunale, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Bernice Comunale, and parents, Genre and Mildred (Hudak) Comunale. 

Bucky loved his Italian Heritage. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, dancing, and taking a nice walk. He was a Member of Monroeville Fire Hall #3. Bucky was proud to work  for the Monroeville Municipality for over 40 years. Bucky was full of life and lived life to the fullest. His greatest love was his family and the time he spent with them.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 2pm to 8pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Colman Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 10am.
