Clara (Lis) Klipa

Clara (Lis) Klipa, of Monroeville, peacefully passed on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the age of 93, with her loving family by her side. Clara was the devoted wife of Peter Klipa for 72 wonderful years. She was the loving mother of James (Deborah) Klipa and Janet (Rudy) Shimonovich; Special Baba of Jim (Adriana) Klipa, Dan (Lindsay) Klipa, Stacy (Ryan) Lentz, Joe (Jill) Klipa, and Amy (Joe) Yurko. She was also the adoring Great-Baba of 15. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Mary Silianoff and Georgeann Klipa, her brother-in-law, Richard Rackiewicz, numerous nieces and nephews, and all who loved her. She was preceded in passing by her parents, John and Anna (Bratkowski) Lis, and her brother, Edward (late Alice) Lis.

Clara was a dedicated Member of St. Nicholas Serbian Church in Monroeville for 72 years. She loved Sunday dinners with her family, and they were everything to her. She loved them all deeply and they will all miss her dearly.

Family and Friends are welcome on Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Pomen Service will be celebrated at 7:30pm. Additional visitation on Thursday from 10am until the time of service at 11am, with Father Stefan Djoric officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at St. Nicholas S.O. Church, Monroeville.
