Peacefully passed on May 29, 2022. Catherine was born on December 23, 1930 in Pitcairn to the late Webster and Myrtle Airgood. Wife of the late William Joseph Root. Beloved mom of Kim (Dave) Ofansky and Cathy Fouser. Special grandma of Nathan Ofcansky, Holly Ofcansky and the late Shannon Parker. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine was a member of the Assembly of God, Pitcairn. She enjoyed reading, watching the Steelers and wrestling, watching game shows and soap operas.
